TOZANDO NISHIJIN STORE: For your Kendo needs and other Budo equipment
The Nishijin Main store is mainly selling a variety of Kendo products, such as Bogu (and Bogu parts), Shinai, Gi, Hakama, Bokken and accessories. This is partly where our craftsmen, including Akira Onishi, assemble and make our Bogu and make repairs. This is also where our tailor-made Hakama and Zekken are made and we also offer embroidery service for products bought in the store. Please note that there is a showroom on the 3rd floor, displaying our highest quality Bogu, feel free to have a look if you stop by!
How to go there:
If you are coming from the Kyoto Central Station, please find the bus terminal in front to the central exit and take #50, bound for the Kitano Tenmangu shrine. Get then off at “Omiya Nakadachiuri” stop and walk toward the same direction the bus is ahead and we are just approximately 100 meter away.
The Nishijin Store is open from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm everyday of the week. Our English speaking representatives are available from Monday thru Saturday.

TOZANDO SHOGOIN STORE: For Iaido, Japanese Swords, Antique Swords, Aikido, Judo, Karate equipment
The Shogoin Store is located close to the Butokuden, also called the Kyoto Budo Center, one of the oldest budo training halls in Japan.
The Shogoin Store specializes in Iaido equipment, including Iaito, Gi, Hakama and accessories, but also has equipment for a variety of Budo. On the second floor we also have many Yoroi (Samurai armors) and antique Katana on display and for sale. They also have a variety of Aikido, Judo and Karate products, including Bokken, Naginata, Yari etc.
How to go there:
If you’re coming from the Kyoto Central Station, walk to the Shichijo street and turn to the right then walk approximately 700 meter and you will find the KEIHAN railroad’s Shichijo Station. Get on the northbound and get off at the Marutamachi station.
Walk along the Marutamachi street to the east approximately 700 meter.
Shogoin store is open 10:00 am till 7:00 pm everyday of the week. English speaking representative standing by.

TOZANDO KYOTO BUDOGU STORE: For general Kendo equipment
The Kyoto Budogu Store is located close to the Butokuden, also called the Kyoto Budo Center, one of the oldest budo training halls in Japan.
The Kyoto Budogu Store specializes in lower-end Kendo equipment, including Bogu Sets, Gi, Hakama and accessories. the store is situated conveniently, just a 3 minute walk away from the Shogoin Store, and is a great alternative if you aren’t able to visit our Main store in the Nishijin area.
How to go there:
If you’re coming from the Kyoto Central Station, walk to the Shichijo street and turn to the right then walk approximately 700 meter and you will find the KEIHAN railroad’s Shichijo Station.
Get on the northbound and get off at the Marutamachi station.
Walk along the Marutamachi street to the east approximately 500 meter.
The Kyoto Budogu store is open 10:00 am till 7:00 pm on Tuesday thru Sunday, please take note that the store is closed on Mondays.

Tozando Tokyo Showroom: Tozando quality products available to see, touch and appreciate in Tokyo!
The Tozando Tokyo Showroom is located close to the Nippon Budokan, which is the place where the biggest Budo events in Japan takes place, among them was the 16th World Kendo Championship in 2015, it also annually houses the All Japan Kendo, Aikido, Judo, Karate, etc championships and is often used for larger events in Tokyo.
The Tozando Tokyo Showroom showcases the highest quality Tozando products, such as Kendo Bogu, Gi, Hakama and Iaito and other accessories. We welcome anyone who wants to see and feel the Tozando quality for themselves while they are in Tokyo. Of course, you can also buy the products we have on display if you find something you like, we can also take orders or arrange for pickups for online orders at the Tozando Tokyo Showroom if requested!
How to go there:
If you’re coming from the Tokyo Station, ride the Chūō Line to Ochanomizu Station.
Get off the train and change to the Chūō-Sōbu Line headed for Ichgaya Station.
Get off at the Ichigaya Station and exit from the No.4 Exit. Cross the river using the bridge and turn left and walk along the river approximately 500 meters. You should be able to see a large building with some rock stairs with a sign saying “Sotobori Sky Building”, enter and access the elevator, the Showroom is on the 5th floor.
The Tozando Tokyo Showroom is open 9:00 am till 6:00 pm on Weekdays, and from 10.00-19.00 on Saturdays & Sundays. Please take note that the Tokyo Showroom is closed on Mondays.
