The IBB Titanium Mengane features an all titanium construction which uses the I.B.B Technology in which the base-ring, center vertical spine, and horizontal bars are all thicker than in a Standard All-Titanium Mengane. The greater thicknesses of the materials, and in particular, the greater cross-sectional area at the points where the parts are welded together, make this one of the strongest Mengane available on the market.
As it is 100 grams heavier than the Standard model, it’s recommend for men of average and large builds, and any person performing at a national level. Being heavier, smaller or thinner persons may find the Standard model more comfortable to wear.
